About the Position
As our NPD & Packaging Designer, you will play a key part in imagining, designing, and delivering world class products into the market. You’ll collaborate closely with our operations, legal, and brand teams to ensure every item, from bottles and RTDs to merchandise, gift packs, and premium packaging, to meet our high standards of quality, compliance, and style.
This role is ideal for a creative thinker with strong technical skills and a passion for innovation within premium consumer brands.
Drive innovation by generating new ideas for bottles, flavours, packaging formats, structural concepts, and beyond.
Design for market release, creating print-ready and production-ready artwork for Au Vodka bottles, RTDs, merchandise, packaging, boxes, and seasonal or promotional gift sets.
Collaborate with the Brand Team to ensure all outputs are consistent with brand identity, visual standards, and creative direction.
Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across artwork, materials, and final production.
Use your creativity and passion to push boundaries within the spirits and RTD categories.
Work across multiple projects simultaneously, from concept sketching to final delivery files.
Work closely with Legal and Operations to ensure all product designs and packaging meet regulatory requirements, technical accuracy, and production standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
2 years design experience (in-house or agency) within product, packaging, FMCG, or related creative fields.
Strong proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience designing for print and production, with understanding of packaging constraints and requirements.
Strong concepting skills able to take an idea from sketch to finished product.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Preferred / Bonus:
Experience with Substance 3D, Blender, Cinema4D, or other 3D design/visualisation software.
Knowledge of POS, merchandise development, or consumer product design.
Understanding of spirits, beverage, or FMCG packaging trends.
